‘NINGUÉM’ is taken from Raquel Martins’ upcoming debut album, LONDON, WHEN ARE U GONNA FEEL LIKE HOME?. This track, set in a bar in her homeland of Portugal, finds the artist searching for meaning in the spaces and behaviours that surround her. “I don’t drink or do drugs, and at the time everyone around me was constantly going out and partying,” she explains. “It felt like a side of life I never really understood, but it seemed to be working for them.” Musically, it’s a unique take on experimental R&B, with a hypnotic, Latin-inspired rhythm colliding with a beautiful, immersive texture courtesy of her rich blend of organic and electronic production.
